If you show me yours, I’ll show you mine: unruly call for submissions

Because unruly is nothing if not a curious-minded beastie, unruly wants an answer to this: what does your workspace look like?

If you think the place you practice your labours is a place we oughta see, then send it along via a small image (not bigger than 450 pixels at its largest dimension, 72 dpi, please) to notruly (at) unruly (dot) ca. The most delectable images will be published as part of a regular feature on workspaces.

Please don’t e-mail huge images. They’ll crash the unruly inbox and make the unruly proprietor want to crush you like a bug. And no good ever comes from that.

And if the images I’m posting here aren’t enough for you, check out The Guardian’s Writer’s Rooms series.

my workspace looks an awful lot like a kitchen. or else a box full of bees. i prefer being in the latter, particularly.

my *work* space, lab-desk-etc, is like a beautiful garden, that grows entropy and occasionally flowers into chaos. then i beat it back with a stick, because shaking one’s fist at the universe is a pointless-but-amusing diversion, and then i sit back and watch it grow again.

My workspace is a dark lighting booth above a theatre, overlooking the stage. Not sure it applies, although it is where my work gets done.
