    Is there any other kind these days?

    I love a cordwood wall, I have to say, especially for an office. Might be too hunting-lodgey in a home but I dig how unexpected it is in the context of the workplace.

    looks like a hugely-magnified (oh yeah, i did that) corkboard. someone needs to get some giant thumbtacks and post a few huge memos to it.

    the cordwood wall would be distracting to me. we had cordwood stacked up against the side of my house growing up, I used to find black widows in it very often when dad would send me out for an armful of logs… spiders. I’d be thinking spiders.
